Andres reports that Holly, the rector of St. James, is organizing a community event and open house this coming Sunday. She’d love to have some Scouts there to welcome people and hand out brochures. If you are interested, please email Andres ASAP! (His email is listed in the Leader Directory.)

Dear Family of St. James’s,

Our neighborhood naysayers like to tell people St. James’s is dying and just hunting money to support our last gasp! The Vestry and I hope that our whole congregation will turn out in strength to prove them wrong at our Open House on Redevelopment, shared with Oaktree, on Homecoming Sunday afternoon, September 13th, from 4 to 6 PM. We want our community to SEE ST. JAMES’S STRONG! Please plan to come, bring the kids, bring cookies to share with our neighbors! Learn about how the construction will happen, how we’re protecting our beloved church, how we’ll manage community relations.
