Learn to cross-country ski in the beautiful Monadnock region of New Hampshire, only 1.5 hours away from Cambridge. We will be visiting Windblown, a cross-country ski center that has been family-owned for 30 years. We will drive there early on Saturday morning in time to arrive for the 11 a.m. lesson. After getting all necessary equipment and taking a lesson, we will spend the day skiing on their 18 miles of groomed trails of all difficulties. We will then ski in ½ mile to spend Saturday night at the wood-stove heated warming hut, pictured above. The hut can accommodate a maximum of 15 people. More skiing on Sunday morning and then home to Cambridge by early afternoon.
